Hyderabad: South Central Railway general manager Vinod Kumar Yadav on Thursday launched two mobile applications, Rail Station Info, and Navigation for Railway Stations (NavRas) apart from commissioning a 400kWp On-Grid solar plant at Kacheguda Railway Station.

Yadav said Kacheguda Railway Station was a heritage station and a pioneer in harnessing digital technology. It was the first DigiPay railway station on Indian Railways. The two mobile apps would be role models for the entire Railways.

The Kacheguda Railway Station will provide information regarding various passenger amenities available at Kacheguda, apart from information on local train timings and a feedback links with the online complaint management system among others.

NavRas – Navigation for Railway Stations was an indoor navigation app for the Kacheguda station. Both apps are available for download on Apple’s App Store and Google’s Play Store.
