An e-tender was issued for supply, installation and commissioning of 1-500 KWp grid-connected rooftop solar power plants at National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi in the month of February 2020.
From the mentioned tender, 30MW capacity was for rooftop solar PV plants under the MNRE (Ministry of New and Renewable Energy) Incentive Scheme for Government Buildings. The open e-tender with capacity of 30 MW (CapEx – 3MW and RESCO – 27 MW) was conducted in two part bidding with e-reverse auction.
A total of 16.5 MW (CapEx – 1.5 MW and RESCO – 15 MW) was awarded on 31st August 2018 and commissioned on 13th May 2019 as committed. The total allocated capacity was 8.5MW (CapEx – 1.5 MW and RESCO – 7 MW). Total capacity of rooftop solar PV plants commissioned was 6.931 MW. The details are as follows:
CapEx Model (CapEx-C, above 100 KW)
The 1500 KW capacity was commissioned by Shriram Cables Pvt. Ltd. for INR 35019 per KW at 1360 KW capacity.
RESCO Part A (10-25 KW):
The 600 KW capacity was commissioned by Azure Power Rooftop (Genco) Pvt. Ltd. at 500 KW capacity. The project cost was proposed to be INR 5.5 Crore per MW and the tariff was calculated to be INR 4.89 per KWh. Whereas, Waaree Energies Ltd. commissioned 400 KW capacity at INR 3.99 per KWh tariff and same project cost.
RESCO PART B (25-50 KW):
For the 1200 KW allocated capacity Atria Power Corporation Pvt. Ltd. commissioned the tender at INR 3.99/KWh tariff and for 1184.14 KW capacity. In the same category the 800 KW capacity was granted to KRPC Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. at INR 3.64 per KWh tariff rate and 779 KW capacity. The project cost was INR 5.5 Crore per MW.
RESCO PART D (Above 100 KW):
For the mentioned category, Perfect House Pvt. Ltd. was awarded the 2400 KW capacity at INR 3.64/KWh tariff and commissioned at 1333.13 KW capacity. At the project cost was INR 5.3 Crore per MW, Navitas Green Solutions Pvt. Ltd. secured the tender of 1600 KW capacity at 1333.49 KW and INR 3.64 per KWh tariff.
