Job Description
The main responsibilities of this role are:
Undertake technical analysis of wind farms at the pre-construction stage of development. This will involve producing detailed, high quality wind resource analysis.
Do energy estimates for operating wind farms.
Identify new sites for wind farm developing.
Monitoring the installation of masts
Evaluate the power performance of individual wind turbines and wind farms.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES
Quality control of wind data received from meteorological masts
Conducting wind resource assessments:
o Wind data analysis Long-term
o Wind flow modelling
o Energy modelling
o Estimation of energy for different confidence levels.
Identifying new site through mesoscale maps, and available wind data.
Ability to review 3rd party reports from consultants like 3tier, AWS, DNV GL.
Should be able to supervise, control and review PCV conducted at site.
Experience in mast installation and its instrumentation.
Willingness to travel extensively at site.
Coordinate with project execution team in WRA related requirements at site.
KEYSKILL SETS REQUIRED:
Experience in Wind Resource Assessment.
Familiar with industry standard softwares like Windographer, wind farmer, open wind, WAsP, WindPro, etc.
Salary:INR 3,75,000 – 5,50,000 P.A.
