This initiative aims to harness the state’s abundant solar and wind resources, contributing significantly to India’s clean energy goals. The project underscores Serentica’s vision of driving a low-carbon future through large-scale renewable energy deployment.

In Detail : Serentica Renewables has announced an investment of Rs 50,000 crore to develop 10,000 MW of renewable energy capacity in Rajasthan.

Serentica Renewables, which is participating in Rising Rajasthan 2024, aims to support Rajasthan’s transition to clean energy through projects.

Currently, Serentica has 3,000 MWp of renewable energy capacity under construction in the state, catering to the power needs of India’s commercial and industrial (C&I) sectors. Additionally, more than 400 MWp is already operational in Rajasthan.

“We are committed to driving India’s clean energy transition, and Rajasthan plays a major role in our journey,” said Akshay Hiranandani, CEO of Serentica Renewables.

Serentica Renewables, supported by the Vedanta Group, has secured investments worth $650 million from leading private equity firm KKR.

Serentica’s medium term goal is to supply over 50 billion units of clean energy annually and displace 47 million tons of CO2 emissions.
