Shakti Pumps Bets On Kusum Scheme To Aid Double Digit Growth Next Fiscal

Government solar projects, once formalised, will push Shakti Pumps (India) Ltd.’s revenue growth to 20 to 25 percent in the next financial year, said Akhilesh Maru, chief financial officer of the company.
Through the Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthan Mahabhiyan (Kusum) Scheme, meant to harness solar power across the country, the government will float two to three lakh pump tenders and convert three crore pumps into solar pumps.
