
Siemens Gamesa bags contract from Equis Energy

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy today said it has bagged a contract to supply turbines from Equis Energy for its Tolo 1 onshore wind project in Indonesia.
This is the companys first order in Indonesia for the gearless SWT-3.6-130 wind turbines, which will be installed by late 2017 and is expected to be commissioned early next year, Siemens Gamesa said in a statement issued here.
Siemens Gamesa has signed a five-year contract with Equis Energy for EPC as well as operations and maintenance for the project, which will be installed in Jeneponto on the south-coast of the central Indonesian island Sulawesi.
