Copenhagen: Wind power group Siemens Gamesa said on Friday it plans to cut 600 staff at a wind blade factory near Aalborg in northern Denmark. The move comes in order for Siemens Gamesa to “remain competitive” amid increasing demands from customers to produce locally and bring down costs, company spokesman Jan Kristensen said. Siemens Gamesa has 2,100 employees at the factory.
