Silfab Solar, North America’s leading PV module manufacturer, will debut next week one of its most advanced 60-cell solar modules with a maximum power rating of 300Wp. The new SLA-M 300 module is the latest in a string of design and manufacturing achievements by a Silfab’s veteran engineering team to deliver high-quality, high-efficiency modules to North America markets. The new 300Wp module will debut at the Solar Power International conference Sept. 12-15, 2016, in Las Vegas at Silfab’s booth (#2373). The latest in Silfab’s growing list of advanced solar products was developed by the integrated PV value chain of Silfab Solar, Inc. and its international partners. The SLA-M 300 modules utilize p-type monocrystalline PERC cell technology for stable, consistent energy output.
“Silfab is proud to deliver a high-quality product that meets the demands for higher energy output within a 60-cell frame. Our experienced and dedicated team continues to meet the market’s need to maximize the power-to-surface area performance supplied through a very strong and highly reliable PV module,” said Geoffrey Atkins, head of development for Silfab. “Constructed with the same high-quality materials we use throughout our product line, our latest module is a direct result of our more than 30 years of experience in the solar industry.”
The Silfab 300Wp modules are ideal for ground-mount and rooftop installations where space constraints and architectural designs are a factor. Silfab’s unique designs and manufacturing techniques result in modules that have fewer components for faster installation and improved system balance, maximum and sustained power performance lasting for decades after installation, aesthetic designs and more. The 300Wp modules are available for purchase through Krannich Solar (856-802-0991) and Fortune Energy (818-678-9699).
Silfab’s recently expanded North American manufacturing plant is now delivering annual production of 300 MW of solar modules to installations throughout the United States and the rest of North America. The highly automated plant operates on a 24/7 schedule, 362 days a year and is focused on developing products specifically designed for the residential market.
