Singulus Concludes an Agreement for The Delivery of Production Equipment for The Manufacture of Heterojunction (Hjt) Solar Cells – EQ Mag Pro
Kahl am Main : SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES has entered into a pre-contractual agreement with a major European energy supplier for the supply of production equipment for the manufacture of heterojunction (HJT) solar cells and received the down payment today.
The total volume of the deliveries is in the lower double-digit million € range. The well-known European energy supplier plans the construction of a new factory for solar cells with a capacity of several gigawatts and intends to use the wet-chemical machines of SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES for this purpose.
Dr. -Ing. Stefan Rinck, CEO SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES: “We are thus involved in the set-up of the currently largest production for high-performance solar cells.” Dr. Rinck adds: “With our SILEX process system, we are an important part of numerous cell manufacturing operations for HJT solar cells worldwide. Our SILEX process plant has already been successfully used in the customer’s current production for quite some time. In the meantime, we have further optimized our system in order to reduce production costs with a higher throughput and improved process parameters.
