SirajPower supports KD Industries’ shift to clean energy
SirajPower designed, constructed, and is currently maintaining and operating the solar rooftop plant
SirajPower has supported K.D. Industries, UAE-based manufacturers of carbon steel Electric Resistance Welded (ERW) pipes and tubes, in its transition to renewable energy through the installation of 900 kWp solar rooftop plant installed in its steel factory in Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza).
SirajPower designed, constructed, and is currently maintaining and operating the solar rooftop plant.
To date, the solar rooftop plant has generated more than 1GWh of clean energy, which is equivalent to over 700 metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions reduced or 153 cars removed from the road for a year.
In November, the UAE-based solar energy provider partnered with Al Ghurair Group to implement solar systems across their facilities in the UAE.
To commence the first phase of the deal, SirajPower was appointed to design, construct, operate, and maintain a 1.8MWp solar rooftop plant for Gulf Extrusions’ facility, which is part of the Al Ghurair Group and is located at Jebel Ali in Dubai.
In addition, SirajPower signed two solar power deals with UAE-based engineering solutions provider Bin Dasmal Group in November. The solar power deals include the installation of two solar rooftop plants at the company’s facilities in Dubai Investment Park (DIP) and Dubai Industrial City.
