The Slovenian Energy Agency (Agencija za energijo) has issued a public invitation for new power generation capacity from renewable energy sources and high-efficiency cogeneration.
The tender will be held in two rounds and will be open to solar, hydro, and biogas power projects not exceeding 10 MW, to wind power projects up to 50 MW, and to co-generation relying on fossil fuel with a capacity lower than 20 MW.
Overall, the agency has allocated €10 million in incentives for the tender. Solar will compete only in the first tender round, for which the agency has allocated €7 million.
Bids must be submitted by November 6, 2017.
