Solar energy project inaugurated by AMC

Setting up of solar energy project by the Aurangabad Muncipal Corporation (AMC) is the need of the hour for the city which features in list of smart cities announced by the Centre, District Guardian Minister Dr Dipak Sawant has said.
Dr Sawant was speaking at the inauguration of Solar energy project at AMC here on Friday on the occasion of Republic day. Mayor Nandkumar Ghodele, MP Chandrakant Khaire, Standing Committee chairman Gajanan Barwal, District Collector Naval Kishore Ram, AMC Commissioner D S Munglikar, among others, were present on the dais.
Dr Sawant said that the project will save a lot of energy which will be utilised for others developmental works in the city, he added.
