Solar power plant installed at school

Vizag Round Table – 77 installed a 2-KW solar power plant at Vasantha Bala Vidyodaya High School at Seethammadhara on Wednesday. Besides donating the plant worth Rs. 2.5 lakh to the school, it the tablers also organised an awareness programme on the importance of tapping renewable energy sources to bring down the fuel consumption.
Students were also introduced to the functions of solar plant and taught how clean energy can replace fossil fuel sources.
