Sr. Manager/agm – Procurement (solar)
Job Description:
Candidate will be responsible for development and implementation of Procurement strategy for all business lines in the company.
Participate actively in technology selection of grid connected and off-grid SolarPower Plants.
Implementation regarding vendor selection process to create pre-qualified vendors for equipment and services relating to constructionofSolarPower Plants. This shall require both domestic and international travel.
Implementation of contract management system.
Negotiation of contracts.
Implementation of streamlined logistics.
Building relationships with nodal agencies like :Customs, MNRE (MNRE for management of concessions and incentives pertaining to Solar Power Generation)
Drive down equipment delivery times for faster implementation of projects.
Implementation of effective inventory management system at project sites

Desired Candidate Profile

Experience in managing a team of at-least 3 people.
