Stadtwerke invest in solar farm Schipkau Second Solar Park Trianel Renewables (TEE) in construction
The municipal utility holding company Trianel Erneuerbare Energien GmbH & Co. KG (TEE) has acquired the Solar Park Schipkau in Brandenburg. “We are on the right track. With the solar park Schipkau we have doubled the size of our PV portfolio to 20 megawatts within a month,” says Dr.-Ing pleased. Christoph creator, head of project development onshore. For the year 2015/16 had TEA with the solar park spraying, also in Brandenburg, received the first ground-mounted PV system into Stadtwerke portfolio.
The solar park Schipkau with an output of 9,970 kilowatts (peak) was developed by the Mainzer bejulo GmbH and Procon Solar GmbH of Cottbus. He is currently being built by the bejulo GmbH as the general contractor on the grounds of special landing site Schwarzheide-Schipkau on a 20 hectare brownfield. Schipkau is located in Oberspreewald-Lausitz, approximately 40 kilometers south-west of Cottbus and about a half hour from the first Trianel Solarpark spraying away. Construction of ground-mounted PV system with a total of 32,160 solar modules was in January 2016. According to current forecasts, the solar park Schipkau is in the power of the Central German grid company annually feed around ten million kilowatt hours of electricity power mbH (MITNETZ POWER).
“In spring 2015, the project has been awarded in the first round for ground-mounted PV systems,” adds Andreas Lemke, Department Manager at Trianel. In April 2015, the municipal utility cooperation in the pilot call the Agency was able to secure, together with other partners, for a total of 18.5 megawatts peak the contract.
With the Trianel Erneuerbare Energien GmbH & Co. KG (TEE) municipal utilities, regional utilities and Trianel GmbH build their commitment in the field of solar and wind energy further. “Until the end of 2018, we will build a portfolio of 275 MW of PV and wind energy,” says Dr. Markus Hakes, Managing Director of Trianel Erneuerbare Energien GmbH & Co. KG, the aim of the investment company. “We have more than 200 MW onshore wind farms and solar parks in Germany in the specific configuration. This will now be implemented in stages and added to the TEA’s portfolio,” said Hakes on. These inventory projects are taken, but even developed completely new locations, so-called white areas.
