“I welcome the decision of the Union Cabinet for approving the Production Linked Incentive Scheme for high efficiency Solar Photo Voltaic Modules. This is a huge boost for domestic players engaged in the production of PVs. The budget outlay will certainly provide a fresh burst to R&D that will ultimately help in adding solar capacity in a more cost-effective manner.
