Su-Kam installs 40KWpGrid-Tie Rooftop Solar PV power plant
Su-Kam Power Systems Limited, India’s leading power back up solutions provider, has installed a 40KWpGrid-Tie solar power plant at rooftop of Allied Engineering Works, Delhi. The Solar Plant is installed under rate contract with Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited (TPDDL) in which the Grid connected solar power plant will produce 56,000 units of electricity, thereby saving a sum of Five Lakh annually. Su-Kam has been given the overall responsibility of designing, supplying, testing and commissioning of the solar power plant.
The company has been short listed as empanelled vendor for TPDDL Consumers for installation of Solar Projects of capacity ranging from 1 KWp to more than 500 KWp at prices determined through competitive bidding. To promote use of Renewable Energy generation for self-consumption of the consumer, TPDDL will help Su-Kam to install net-metering system for this project.The entire system consists of two string inverters of 20 KW each and 160 numbers of solar PV panels of 250 watt each. The power generated from the solar system will meet part of Allied Engineering Works energy requirements to run machineries like printers, air conditioners, computers etc.
Apart from this, Su-Kam is also installing 3 KWp grid-tie solar power plants at Ujjwal IAS Academy, Delhi and more projects with a total capacity of 1.5 MW are under discussion.Speaking on the occasion Mr. Devinder Kumar, CEO Solar Projects, Su-Kam said, “We at Su-Kam realize that the future of the power industry in India is going to be driven by the renewable energy sector, primarily dominated by solar energy.We are very pleased to make this solar installation in Delhi and look forward to making further contributions with our expertise in solar in other parts of Delhi as well.”Su-Kam is one of the top players in residential solar market with 20.6% market share and pan India presence.
