Despite incessant rainfall during past few days in some parts of the country, partially affecting coal mining operations and railway logistics, there is sufficient power available for grid requirement as reflected through grid stability maintaining a healthy daily average frequency in the range of 49.96- 50.02 Hz. Efforts are on to improve coal supply through a contingency plan drawn by CIL.
