Sungrow Wins Enterprise for Best Practices in Achieving Sustainable Development Goals in 2021 Awarded by UNGC – EQ Mag Pro
Hefei, China : The United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) Network China unveiled the list of Enterprises for Best Practices in Achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in 2021. Sungrow was shortlisted given its outstanding practices in catalyzing global carbon neutrality.
Offering access to affordable and reliable energy
Sungrow is the world’s leading renewable energy solution supplier with a 25-year track record, dedicated to zero-carbon footprints globally with over 224 GW of installations, generating 315,200 GWh of clean electricity per year, equivalent to eliminating 252 million of carbon dioxide. With the world’s largest R&D team, Sungrow strives to make solar energy more affordable and reliable to an increasing number of facilities and communities.
Responsible production and consumption
Multiple activities have been done by Sungrow to ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns. As a dedicated member of the international RE100 and EP100 initiatives, Sungrow pledged to source 100% renewable energy for global manufacturing and operations, and increase its energy productivity by over 35% with 2018 considered the base year.
The Company has the world’s largest inverter manufacturing base with an annual production capacity of 140 GW.
