Sunpreme Wins A Commercial Roof Top Module Supply Agreement (MSA) Of 10MW For Its Bifacial, Double Glass, Frameless GxB-370W Panels, Incorporating Its Hybrid Cell Technology (HCT) Platform
Sunpreme announced at the Intersolar San Francisco trade show that it has closed on an MSA (Module Supply Agreement) for delivering approximately 10MW of its Bifacial 370W HCT panels for installation on large commercial roof tops in the second half of 2016. This comes from a repeat customer who already has recently commissioned 15MW of Sunpreme Bifacial panels on other projects. With an optimally configured roof top design, the Bifacial boost on roof top projects is expected to be in the 10-15% range.

We are on track to reach multiple 100MW/yr off-take agreements to support Sunpreme’s growth in manufacturing capacity,” stated Dr Ashok Sinha, Sunpreme’s Chairman and CEO. “Our leading edge double glass, frameless design enables the highest power Bifacial panels available today. These panels absorb light from both front and back sides, the symmetric HCT cells enable high efficiency PV conversion, with high yield production-worthiness and without cost tradeoffs. Such performance is made possible even under low and diffuse ambient lighting, resulting in a higher energy yield (KWhr per KWp). The panel design, esp. with (optional) integrated optimizers, assures consistent performance in adverse lighting as well as environmental conditions,” added Sinha.
Sunpreme’s double glass GxB370, 72 Cell panels with 21.5% (STC) efficient cells are designed for reliability, including a frameless construction that needs no grounding.
