Sunpure Secures Robotic Cleaning Solution Contract for 1100 MW Saad 2 Project with POWERCHINA Huadong Engineering Co., Ltd. – EQ
SUNPURE has signed a supply agreement with Powerchina Huadong Engineering Corporation Limited for the provision of PV cleaning robots for the Saad 2 project in KSA, covering a capacity of 1100MW.
The project is located in the Saad region east of Riyadh, the capital of KSA, and is a key part of the KSA’s Public Investment Fund 3 (PIF 3). The PIF 3 project is the largest batch of ground-mounted solar power plants in KSA to date, and once completed, it will provide renewable energy to approximately 750,000 households. Sunpure will supply over 5,000 units of its upgraded cleaning robots for PIF 3, covering a capacity of over 2 GW in total, continuously assisting the power plants in reducing soiling loss and safeguarding their power generation revenue.
