Tender Results : SECI Wind Energy Reverse Bidding brings Wind Tariff Down to Rs.3.46/kWh

Interesting and dynamic times for the energy markets. Wind energy back in the game with the last night reverse budding conducted for SECI Wind Tender. Leading developers like Mytrah, IDFC & Sembcorp backed Green Infra, Inox Wind, Actis backed Ostro & Adani all quoted Rs.3.46 per kWh for 250MW Wind Power Plants. Just behind them who were not so aggressive were Renew Power quoting Rs.3.47, Gamesa at Rs.3.68, Surya Vidyut (CESC) quoted Rs.3.75, ReGen quoted Rs.3.85 and Leap Green quoted Rs.3.92.
