The Supra Eco Homes, India’s First Fully Solar Powered Real Estate Project, where even Elevators Work on Solar Power, Announced
It will be a wood free apartment. No geysers, invertors, diesel generators to be installed. When it is completed in next 18months, it will be the “Near Zero Carbon Emissions Building in the country.”
Only 2% of the new constructions in India are Green Buildings. Residential apartments are responsible for 22 percent of India’s total annual carbon emissions. So it is very important that we move towards sustainable homes, informs Chaitanya Rayapudi.
Own a home that doesn’t use wood for doors and windows. Uses minimum electricity, draws only solar power. Solar water heaters produce hot water. Solar power is the primary source of electricity for the apartment of 16 units of 3 BHK. It runs almost exclusively on Solar Energy. The power bills will not be more than Rs. 250/- per month. It creates a facility to re-use rainwater. Ground water is harvested. It produces, minimal carbon footprint.
It is India’s first fully Solar Powered Real Estate Project, where even elevators work on Solar Power.
The Supra Eco Homes, the newly launched Hyderabad’s greenest homes project planned so well that it minimally depends on the grid. That means there will be no power bills, power cuts, literally.
No geysers, invertors, diesel generators to be installed in the building.
Wood is a primary building material. But, zero trees are cut, and zero wood is used in the construction of the building. Instead, windows made of UPVC and steel doors and frames are used.
Sustainable Homes is undoubtedly the wave of the future. Supra Builders is the first construction company in India gone deep in Solarizing the Apartment in the past, and now even lifts of Supra Eco Homes are run on solar energy, which was not possible earlier in Pride Supra Homes.
This environmentally low-impact home designed and built considering the changing preferences of the consumers informed 32years old young entrepreneur, a software professional-cum-real estate builder, Chaitanya Rayapudi.
Green housing will be the future of real estate not only in India, but, across the globe. Environmentally responsible and resource-efficient buildings must become an integral part and future of the construction industry of our country. And we are happy, “Supra Builders is the pioneer in this segment”. Many home buyers prefer our green and sustainable homes.
Only 2 percent of the new construction in India is Green Buildings. We made a giant leap forward in adopting green technologies. Buildings account for up to 40 percent of the total energy consumption in India, of which residential sector accounts for over 60 percent. Residential apartments are responsible for 22 percent of India’s total annual carbon emissions. So it is very important that we move towards these sustainable homes, informs Chaitanya.
Constructing in 900sq yards space, the venture; Supra Eco Homes has 16 units of 3 BHK Flats of 1406 ft. The building of two blocks of parking and plus four floors apartment boasts of many eco-friendly amenities. It has green space with private farming of vegetables, fruits, and flowers. It has solar fencing, rainwater re-usage and harvesting facility, water softener, etc. It houses 20seater home theatre, mini-gym, sports room as well.
Own a Supra Eco Home that saves, Chaitanya speaks passionately about his latest venture. When you own a home in The Supra Eco Homes you save six trees, you save on electricity and water. You will be the proud owner of the home that leaves the minimal carbon footprint.
It is the trend-setting apartment and is an eco-friendly model apartment. Our previous project “Pride Supra Homes” drew a lot of public attention. It was the cynosure in the nearby localities. Many architecture students studied it, did their thesis and project works on it, says Chaitanya proudly.
Besides the solar initiative, we have used AAC Bricks, LEDs, Energy-saving fans, energy efficient ACs. We have used UPVC Windows with three track systems, Eco-Friendly Doors (UPVC Tri-Composite). By opting for UPVC Doors & Windows, we have brought down the wood usage in the construction by 100%, said Chaitanya.
We also used less cement compared to any other constructions. By using alternate green construction material available, we save a lot of water used for curing, close to 50%.
In recent years, Unplasticized Polyvinyl Chloride or UPVC doors have become popular and are being used widely in homes. They are the most durable of the materials available, strong, robust and resilient. It is highly unlikely that UPVC needs to be changed. They don’t rot, flake, rust, fade, pools off, etc. Don’t require any maintenance. They are stable material to resist pollution. These UPVC doors work as good insulators, due to which home is warmer in winter and cooler in summer. These doors are top rated and imported from Turkey.
Supra Builders, the Hyderabad-based Start-up Construction Company is India’s first Eco-Wise Builder, is trendsetting in its approach. It is always ahead of its competition. It has been the pioneer in offering green living concepts.
