Training in utilisation of solar systems in East Godavari district
Kakinada: The NREDCAP (New and Renewable Energy Development Corporation of AP) has taken up the promotion of renewable energy in a big way in East Godavari in particular and in the state of AP in general.
Under this, a 3-month training programme will be conducted by Skill Development Council of India (SDCI) in utilization of solar systems and gadgets, designing and maintenance and repairs of solar systems at Guntur in AP.
Those who passed ITI courses, diploma and other equivalent qualifications with 21 years of age are eligible to apply. After the three-month training programme by SDCI, a certificate will be issued to the trainees.
According to East Godavari NREDCAP district manager S Satyanarayana, the selection for training will be conducted by their organization. On completion of the tanning, there are plenty of opportunities in solar power units which are more than 60 units in number in AP.
In addition to this, the trained will have employment opportunities in other states also as the solar installations programme is going on at brisk pace at national level.
If the candidates decide to have self-employment, they can opt for repairs and maintenance of the systems.
