Sad news!!! I had also connected 300 MW their in 2010. Through 220 Kv feeding.
220 / 400 kV Akal Substation – 3 x 315 + 500 MVA ! Enercon / Inox major turbine connected to this substation ! Expansion was due for this substation from last many years ! All eyes are on Jaislmer – 2 RRVPNL now ! 2 x 500 MVA, commissioning expected by Dec 18 !
Transformer caught fire at 440 KV GSS, Akal Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. Fire spread and was just 10 ft away from huge oil storage area
