Ujaas Energy stock surges 10% on securing new contracts
NEW DELHI: Shares of Ujaas Energy surged as much as 10 per cent in early Mumbai trade on Friday after the company announced that it had won various contracts.
The scrip opened at Rs 25.80 and touched a high and low of Rs 26.80 and Rs 25.45, respectively, in the first hour of trade.
The counter settled at Rs 26, up 6.57 per cent on Friday.
The company said it had received a letter of award of the contract from West Bengal Renewable Energy Development Agency for installation and commissioning of 150 units of rooftop grid connected solar photovoltaic plants each of 10 Kwp capacity at various locations of West Bengal.
In a separate filing, the company said it had received letter of award of contract from Oil IndiaBSE 1.47 % for engineering, procurement, and construction contract for Solar Energy Generation project of 500KW at pump station of Oil India at Jorhat in Assam.
In addition to this, the company has received a letter of allocation from SECI for an aggregate 20.03 MW capacity for implementation of grid connected rooftop solar photovoltaic system scheme for the government building in different states/union territory of India.
