“Ujaas wins order from UREDA for 364 houses of Uttrakhand”
UJAAS ENERGY LIMITED (UJAAS) has win an order for design, manufacture, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of Grid Interactive Rooftop and small Solar PV Power Plant of 4/5 kwp capacity for 364 homes located at various locations in two districts in the state of Uttarakhand under Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission (JNNSM).
JAWAHARLAL NEHRU NATIONAL SOLAR MISSION (JNNSM)
The Government of India has launched the Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission (JNNSM) to promote ecologically sustainable growth while addressing India’s energy security challenge. The aim of this mission is to focus on setting up an enabling environment for solar technology penetration in the country by focusing on promoting off grid/ Grid connected Solar Power Generation including hybrid systems to meet/ supplement power, heating and cooling requirements. MNRE and Govt. of Uttarakhand have approved/sanctioned the Uttarakhand Grid Interactive Rooftop and Small SPV Power Plants Scheme. Under this scheme, UREDA has been given a target to install cumulative 44 MW grid interactive Rooftop and small SPV power plants in Uttarakhand based on net metering scheme.
Under this target, Govt. of Uttarakhand has launched a scheme named “Suryodaya Swarozgar Yozna” in which individuals residing in hilly region of the state are eligible to set up Solar Power Plant of upto 5 KWp capacity.
