The deal with funds of the Q-Energy Group includes 82MW of operational PV and under development wind and solar
Austrian energy company Verbund has acquired from various funds of the Q-Energy Group a portfolio of operational and under development wind and solar projects in Spain totalling over 4500MW.
The portfolio includes regulated and operational solar farms with a combined capacity of 82MW, and 2.1GW of wind and PV at an advanced stage of project development and a further 2.4GW of greenfield developments.
The acquisition also includes the portfolio’s development team. Verbund said the projects are located in the Castilla–La Mancha region in central Spain and in Andalusia in the south.
