Vestas secures orders for 301 MW of wind turbines in China
Vestas Wind Systems A/S secured two wind turbine orders for 301 MW of projects in China.
The first contract will see the Danish manufacturer supply 202 MW of turbines to an unnamed customer, with delivery scheduled to start in the third quarter and commissioning expected in the same period.
The contract includes a two-year active output management service agreement, according to a March 31 news release.
Vestas will also supply 99 MW of turbines to another unnamed customer for two wind projects in Jiangsu province. Delivery is expected to begin in the second quarter, with commissioning scheduled for the third quarter.
The contract includes a 20-year active output management service agreement, according to a separate March 31 statement.
The orders take Vestas’ announced order intake in China to 750 MW in the first quarter of 2020.
