Leung Chun-ying,Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), recently visited Kalyon PV Industrial Park in Turkey. The 2GW solar project is a collaboration between CETC-RedSolar and Kalyon PV, which is a turnkey solution covering the entire photovoltaic industry chain, including equipment, products, technology and services.
Accompanying Leung Chun-ying were Dr. Liu Yuhua, Minister-Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Turkey, Mr. Ersan Tüfekçi, CEO of Kalyon PV, and Mr. Liu Wenfeng, Director of CETC Redsolar, among others.
During the visit, Mr. Ersan Tüfekçi provided an overview of Kalyon Group’s achievements in the new energy industry, expressing appreciation for CETC-Redsolar’s contribution to the company’s PV energy development.
Mr. Liu Wenfeng, Director of the CETC-Redsolar shared information on crystal pulling, slicing, cells, modules, and other aspects in the project production workshop. He highlighted the challenges overcome from contract signing to delivery, contributing to the ‘Belt and Road’ initiative.
Mr. Ersan Tüfekçi presented Chairman Leung Chun-ying and Minister-Counselor Liu Yuhua with symbolically engraved solar cells, expressing sincere thanks for the contribution of Chinese enterprises to the Turkish photovoltaic industry. He stated the commitment to continue cooperation with CETC RedSolar and support Turkey’s local energy development.
