To mark International Women’s Day, Waaree Energies Ltd. donated Solar powered products such as Solar Lanterns, Study lamps etc to the underprivileged women’s through its associate agency .
Speaking on the occasion , Mr. Prasad Chaporkar – Spokesperson for Waaree said that the government has been doing lots of efforts to empower the women while much has been achieved in areas such as education, healthcare and the economy, many serious gaps still remain. We as a part of our social responsibility are pleased to do our bit in helping the underprivileged women’s of the society.
In addition, Waaree also felicitated its women workforce on the occasion of International Women’s day. “We must acknowledge the increasing contribution of women workforce in the Solar Industry in general “ . By empowering women’s, economic growth, poverty reduction, health status improvements and increased resilience to environmental and humanitarian crises can be achieved , said Mr. Chaporkar.
