Waaree Energies secures 1 GW solar PV module supply order – EQ

Deliveries are scheduled for fiscal years 2025 and 2026. This deal underscores Waaree’s growing role in India’s renewable energy sector, supported by its robust 13.3 GW production capacity.
In Detail : Waaree Energies Limited has bagged 1 GW solar photovoltaic (PV) modules supply order from an Indian renewable energy firm. Reportedly, the customer is involved in owning, developing, and operating renewable power projects across India.
The supply of these modules is scheduled to take place during the financial years 2024-25 and 2025-26.
In December 2024, Waaree Energies Limited secured two solar module supply orders totaling 524 MW, with deliveries extending into FY 2025-26, from prominent renewable energy companies involved in the ownership, development, and operation of renewable power projects across India.
In the same month, Waaree Energies announced securing an order to supply 180 MWp of solar modules, with deliveries set to commence by late November 2024 and conclude by March 2025.
In October 2024, Waaree Energies announced an IPO offering 4.8 million equity shares valued at Rs 36 billion, priced between Rs 1,427 and Rs 1,503 per share, with the bid lot starting at nine shares.
