Waaree Renewable secures EPC contract for 22 MW solar project with ISMT – EQ
In Short : Waaree Renewable has secured an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contract for a 22 MW solar project with ISMT. This partnership highlights ongoing efforts to expand solar energy infrastructure and promote sustainable energy solutions in India.
In Detail : Waaree Renewable Technologies (WRTL), a subsidiary of Waaree Energies, has won a contract from ISMT Limited, a Kirloskar group company, for a turnkey Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract for a 22 MW AC / 30 MWp DC ground-mounted solar project.
The project is set to be developed in Helas village, located in Maharashtra’s Jalna district. “WRTL’s navigation through challenges in executing the earlier order, with robust support from the ISMT team, has resulted in this repeat order,” the company stated.
WRTL will deliver EPC services, which include design engineering, procurement, supply, installation, and commissioning of the solar plant. The project encompasses the supply of bifacial solar modules, land acquisition, and full oversight of construction and commissioning processes.
WRTL will handle complete operation and maintenance to ensure the solar plant’s optimal performance. The project involves the installation of evacuation infrastructure at plant and substation levels, establishing the transmission line, and obtaining all statutory approvals for seamless operations.
