Waaree Renewable Technologies has secured an EPC contract for a 6.5 MWp (DC)/five MW (AC) solar power project for the energy arm of a leading steel and power conglomerate in Chhattisgarh.
The project is spread across 23 acres of plot, wherein the power generated will be evacuated at the 33 kV level and injected into the existing 33 kV Switchyard. As part of the engagement, Waaree Renewable Technologies will be responsible for the operation and maintenance (O&M) of the solar power plant for a period of five years from the commissioning date.
The Mumbai-headquartered subsidiary company of Waaree Energies provides clean energy to its clients in the commercial and industrial (C&I) segments by setting up on-site solar projects (rooftop and ground-mounted) and off-site solar farms in the form of open access solar plants.
